brief moment of haiku

The topic this week in Haiku Monday was fog. My favorite entry, and perhaps one of my favorite haiku of these many months:

The postman is here
to kill us all: bark, bark, bark,
bark, bark, bark, bark, bark.

Nice going, Csar--you were a coin-toss away from the win. I was going to label you "Jimmy Stewart"for your ongoing-earnest modesty: but you're not folksy enough. Can you work on it??

@Moi: Bark, bark.

@Fleur: Meow.
